Ernie Saved My Weekend ! ! !

HoWdY Yanmar Folks,

Well it's been some time since I've posted here, mainly because all has been well with my tractor and have been busy moving from Michigan to Oregon (yep...the 1500D came with me). Anyhow, I was running a landscape rake here in NW Oregon and broke a 3pt hitch part. I had dealt mainly with parts folks back East, but remembered there there was "some guy named Ernie" in Oregon.

Well after a quick phone call, I was invited out on a Saturday afternoon to Ernie's place. He had the part in hand, and showed me all of his tractors (they're all very nice by the way) and other equipment. He's got quite the setup out there in the foothills of the Cascade mountain range of Oregon, I must honestly admit that one day, when I grow up....I want to be like Ernie!

Ha! Seriously though, he appears to run a great biz and truly saved my weekend of planned tractor work. I can tell you that future parts as well as future Yanmars for me WILL be coming from ERNIE ! ! !

Some of us have heard many stories like this about Ernie....We just never hear Ernie tell 'em.

Nice to hear another person having the satisfaction of doing business with Ernie. One couldn't ask for more from a dealer. He has always done right by me. I would never hesitate in recommending Ernie to anyone looking for equipment he sells.

As Mark said, you'll never hear Ernie Tooting his own horn but I don't mind tooting it for him whenever I can.

I was looking and looking and looking for a small used tractor and some guy named Ernie had something I was interested in. The 155d he showed me wasn't pretty, but he assured me that although it wasn't perfect, it was a good, reliable tractor. Roughly a year later, the only thing I've had to do to that tractor is replace the shift boot (pending), change oil, and keep fuel in it.

It is very rare that I give praise in this way, but the way Ernie does buisness is becoming a VERY rare way of doing buisness. He was awesome to deal with, honest, and did not pressure me in any way.

If I can ever afford a nicer tractor (i.e. kids gone ) I will buy it from Ernie.

I just moved from NW Michigan to NW Oregon.
Pretty much right in between Gresham and
Happy Valley....lucky enough to be on acreage
so I have some kind of excuse to use my Yanny!
