Error code P008 9

Hi guys, I've got about 18 hours on my new LX3310. It runs fine and there's no issues with any implements. Today the little red warning light came on and the code P008 9 came up. I called my service dept. and the guy says it's about restricted fuel, check the filter. Everything looks good, I'll get a new filter anyway but my queston is, should I not run it until then? Seems to run perfect but I don't want to mess anything up. 2 hour trip for parts.
So just wondering if the code might be a glitch in itself. Thanks for any input, I appreciate it!

I don't have an lx3310, but the error code number does seem to be fuel delivery related based on a cursory search. I would likely continue to run the machine and have the dealer check it when possible. You should check the manual specifically about the red warning light and see what they say about it. It could conceivably be a "shut down your tractor warning" or something less critical.

18 hours is a real short period of time to clog up a fuel filter, so it may not be that simple. You could change the filter, bleed the system, and try resetting the code. There are numerous videos and forum discussions on the reset procedure for other Kubota tractor models that may be similar enough. They all (?) seem to involve pressing and holding 2 buttons at the same then turning the key to the on position.
Sorry I don't have specific info about your machine, perhaps someone else will chime in with something.

Thanks for your input. I'll call the dealer tomorrow for procedure. It's under warranty so I'm not going to do anything to void it. They can come out and service it if necessary. 2 hour drive and no trailer so options are limited. I do appreciate your reply, thanks again.

To determine if your unit is required to be updated, look up your model and serial number in K-Warranty or the K-Service App’s Machine Lookup function to see if this Mandatory Campaign has been assigned to your unit.
Issue
Error code P0089 may appear on the display and the engine may not accelerate correctly due to a supply pump learning issue with the engine ECU software.
Solution
Reprogram the engine ECU to the latest software available on the software page, relearn the supply pump, and then clear the Meter Panel error information per the Workshop Manual.
Note: To prevent a communication error during ECU reprogramming, ensure the parking brake is set.

A similar (maybe the same) code throws the MX into limp mode and is resultant from a dirty connection between the pressure sensor and ECU. Had that happen after about a year of ownership. Cleaned the connection, reset and no issue since.

Will do. If it's a computer based issue I'm out. I can clean or replace a filter but I'm not reprogramming anything haha! We'll see what tomorrow brings.
