I thought this was an interesting story on the founder of Erskine Equipment who passed away this Christmas. I figured folks here might be curious given how popular their equipment is.

Small World !... I have friends that sailed with Swanson across the equator....A PBS special featured his story of his several attempts to go around the northwest passage.
Up until I bought my New Kubota B-3000 last year, I owned an original Erskine 'snowthrower' which I adapted to fit my CA Aliis Chalmers.

Thanks for posting. Sounds like Roger Swanson was an amazing fellow. I always enjoy meeting people like him.

I too own an Erskine front mount snow blower and very happy with it.
