Ad said its a 1970s Sears something or other. Saw the ad earlier with a video link and it seemed loud but it definitely could cut the grass. Prett cool I think.

Must have been restore at one time..all orange,thought Ecom & Jim Dandy were the only tractor painted orange at that time..hmmm.

There was brief time Kubota did sell through Sears but the tractor shown is not a Kubota of any type. Kubota realized their dealers were as valuable as their products and made a 180 - never again - as the Sears folks only knew to sell and did not support the product like dealers will.

What is shown is a Sears Suburban painted Kubota orange and decaled as a Kubota. This was done by someone after they bought it, no doubt.

I had a Sear SS12 with a 42" mower from 1969-75 that I mowed and pushed snow with in CT - same tractor as shown but my hood was white as were the wheels. The frame, fenders and grill were orange but not Kubota orange.

Maybe it's wishful thinking on someone's part!

That may have looked like this one at one time.

I have that same tractor sitting behind the house. Was having a spark issue last time I went to use it (2004).
Need to take a look at it again and possibly get it running.

I can recall when both were on showroom floor years/decades back,every now and than see rider in for trade or at equipment auction.

i'VE SEEN THE kUBOTA WITH THE FRONT DECK. tHEY ARE NOW THE F MODEL. iN FACT i'VE BEEN SEEING ONE WITH A 60" (Oops! Caps lock on) rear discharge front deck now for 3 years on a regular basis, F2680E 2 wd when I mow rental property with it and I've been seeing.another one a F3080 4wd 72" front deck rear discharge for a few months when I mow my home property. They are the top of the line mower, period.
