ex2900 hydraulic fluid change help needed

I changed the fluid today for the first time. In the manual it says there is a tranny drain plug and 2 final drive drain plugs. I drained both final drive plugs but can't find the transmission drain plug. My tractor doesn't have a mid-pto and the picture in the manual shows the plug with the mid-pto. Is there only a plug when you have a mid-pto? I'm assuming so cuz I've looked forever and a day for it.

I haven't put the new fluid in yet because I've become indecisive about it. I have travelers premium all ready to go in, but now i'm thinking I should go with the yanmar tf500 (because it's under warranty) or the Castrol UTF...what's everyone else been using?

Alltherage, If this is your first service you should be able to get what you need for free from your Yanmar dealer (50hr service).Can't help you with your ex2900 but if i was you i would get a service/repair manual for your unit. As far as the fluid goes i am going to contact my dealer and ask him to supply me with the fluid seeing how its free along with the other items needed for the first service. Which will be soon since i have 40 hours now. I am sure someone will help you out here soon. Good luck. :drink:

thanks...this is a 2011 model of which I am the 2nd owner. My 5year warranty stands but I never heard anything about a free service.
