The Rockhound is a much better mower. My father runs a USMower on a Kubota 080 and have had lots of issues. The old USMower was on a 161 and a 121 before that. New one ran for a couple weeks already is showing serious wear.
Having looked at it in action and seen the wear, the Rockhound seems to be heavier and better built.

I do'nt know what your pressure and flow is but you need around 50 litres per minute for a small flail mower . The one in my gallery is a Berti CK100 . It's a 1 metre wide cut and has hammers instead of knives , it will cut 1" material but is more suited to grass . The flail mowers are good in the respect that they do'nt throw things and can hit steel etc with no real harm . My 3.5 ton excavator needed a hose on the valve body to re direct some of its 96 litres per minute to the boom as only 43 was there from the factory and when i used the hydraulics to swing or walk the mower would die .
