You should ground all attachaments any time you shut off teh machine, and cycle teh hydraulics with the engine off, to relieve all pressure, any time you leave it. One of those safety things.

Equipment is an attractive hazard, kids (and childish adults), will climb on and play with the controls. If one does and hurts themself or others, you’re headed to court, and will most likely loose.
