Exmark builds an excellent mower and are, I believe, the largest selling commercial mower manufacturer in the US. They are now owned by Toro and build Toro's commercial grade ZTRs. A properly maintained Commercial mower should atain 3000 hours with no problems. I have an 11 year old Grasshopper with 1200 hours and a 2007 Exmark with 850 hours. They have both been good machines. The Grasshopper is more comfortable. The thing thatmost impresses me about the Exmark is how precise the controls feel. It is far easier to control on an incline.
Whatever you purchase should be commercial grade. Although pricey to purchase, their ability to withstand so much more than the homeowner grade machines, in my estimation, make them a much better choice.
