Experience w/ Riverside Tractor (Berlin Vt.)?

I'm looking at an L 35 w/ 1300 hours located at Riverside Tractor (formerly Walt's) in Berlin Vt. Has any one had any experience with them? Good or bad.

I have just filed a complaint with Riverside Tractor for performing unauthorized repair. These people are shady. I brought my Kubota in for a loader hydraulics problem ,which turned out to simply be a disconnected coupler. They welded a step on my backhoe, replaced bolts in my backhoe bucket, etc. etc. and then charged me over $700

After I filed my complaint with the VT consumer Affairs, instead of responding to the complaint they tried a scare tactic by going to the Berlin police with a non-payment complaint. I will now pursue fraud litigation.

Prior problems have included their attempt refuse to honor warranty because the drive shaft they sold me along with a brush hog was the wrong size and blew out the rear end.

I woujld definitely stay away from Riverside Tractor.

Pay them visit March 09 while looking for new Kubota,they good deals going on at the time also friendly..know of couple fellow purchase from them and still happy.

I deal with Giddings in Pittsford vermont. Very pleased with the deal I got and their service. Small place, but you deal with the owner who is a great guy. Highly recommend them!

Never bought used from Riverside, but did buy a new BX2660 about a year ago.
They delivered promptly and made sure I was satisfied.

When there was a problem in the spring with my MMM (1st use), which turned out to be a pulley installed upside down at the factory, they picked it up and fixed it immediately.

I have also used them for component fixes and they ran new hydro lines for the steering in my BX2200.

They have always done just what was requested and the price was fair.

I live in Gill MA and I bought a Kabota L3600 DTC from them. I bought it in Dec and I could not test it. They delivered the tractor and I notice a few things that needed repair. They came down 3 hour drive, picked up the tractor and brought me a loaner 4wd so I could plow my driveway. The fixed my tractor and delivered it NO CHARGE ! It has worked fine since then. I had some questions on maintenace and they always answered them and were very helpful. I definitely would reccommend them.
