The CAT I hydraulic cylinder with DPCV is $185 or $195 each. A hose kit with 8010-4 Pioneer male couplers is $45. If you just want a single spool valve you can look at Surplus Center for those but you might want to look at adding an OEM JD rear couplers and valve.gordon21 said:CCI:
Could you mount the valve on top?
Roughly what does a cylinder, open center valve with handle mounted on the cylinder itself, and two 36" hoses with JD quick connect fittings on the end cost? I would need a open center valve that works with the JD Power beyond system.
BobQ was kind enough to make one of these for me. As you can see form the pictures, the workmanship is fantastic. It fits like a glove and has completely solved my 'short toplink' problem.
You'll notice that mine has 2 holes instead of 3 - we decided that I would have trouble with the PTO safety cover if the extender was 3 holes high. This works great!

If I could weld I'd make myself an extension bracket. Those can be easily removed when no longer needed. I'd love to find someone to make it for me. Any takers?

Also, you may be able to buy a slightly longer top-link for the cost of having an extension bracket made. I think you can buy a longer top link for $40 or so....no?
OH....and I have had Pat's on two tractors now.....and never had a need for a longer top link.
I've got a Kubota L3901 and could really use one of these since I have hydraulic top & tllt. A longer top cylinder would be way too expensive. Are you interested in making one to sell? Really like your design. Mike (mpspong@gmail.com)Here are the pics. Also, I hope I put this in the right fourm?
