Hey all,

I am the original owner of a EZR1648. I think it is the 1st or 2nd year model that came out. Anyways, Here lately it ain't been mowing very well. Don't cut the grass, just knocks it down. or leaves strips on the outside edges of the blades, like they ain't turning fast enough.

I have good sharp blades on. New belts on deck and drive belt from clutch to deck. Belt tensioner good and tight. The only thing I can see is the bottom seal on the engine is leaking oil. If this makes it to the belts would it cause enough slippage to cause mower to not mow right?

Second question. Would I be able to change out the seal without pulling the motor off? I haven't looked to see how much room is under there to get to it.

Thanks

Bill
