EZtrak Z425, 54-inch Deck

I can get a EZtrak Z425, 54-inch Deck for $3800 out the door
what does everybody think of the price?

Sounds about right. I have been pricing the JD zero turn mowers and that is what the 425 is around here. If you can afford the extra grand and need more durability the 445z has a much stronger drivetrain and I believe a larger motor to handle that 54" deck.

good evening,
i just bought the z425 with a 48" deck and so far i love it(6 hrs)....that price is about right, because i paid $3895 for mine.... added the light kit and it was delivered with a full tank of gas....and floor mat....right at $4000 plus tax
so i would say its a fair price....(i was quoted for a 54" 3995)

I have the Z425 and it has the exact same drive train (Kanzaki DUP-10 hydro pump and Parker TEO195 wheel motors) that the Z445 has. What you get for your extra $1K is a Kawasaki 25 HP engine vs B&S 23 HP, 6-in. wider deck, and a higher back seat. Pretty much everything else is the same including wheel/tire sizes. I like the mower a lot and it is sooo much faster than my old LT. I have the power-flo bagger on it and it performs very well, hasn't clogged yet. It wasn't the easiest thing to install but once on it perfoms great, and the two bags have much more capacity than my old MTD rider.

Also, I see this year that you can get the 48-in. or 54-in. deck on either the Z425 or the Z445, as you indicated. That's a change from last year. I would say with no power bagger, go ahead and get the 54-in. deck, especially if you have a big lawn. If you ever do think about getting the bagger system, I would recommend the 48-in. deck because that blower does take some of the available motor horsepower away.

well i got the 48 inch deck for $3650 delivered. used it this weekend and man can this thing cut grass!. I love using it and it does a great job.
