I've got a 2014 F series 5600 (one of the last f series made) and lost traction to my left, rear tire. When I looked, the cv boot was torn and the drive line was out of the hub or whatever it's called. Has anyone seen this? I can't tell if there was a bearing in there or if it's just pushed back. There's a place for the drive line splines but I can't tell if it's the bearing in there. The drive line is too short to reach it which makes me think the bearing is pushed too far in. I have not had this issue before so I'm at a loss as to how to describe but maybe the pictures will help.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated. I'm pretty sure I don't have the tools to fix but I need to be able to describe what the problem is. 20151205_173634_resized.jpg20151205_173508_resized.jpg20151205_173709_resized.jpg

Looks like the clip came off the end of the shaft and the spider slid inward. You will need to remove CV shaft to inspect it closer and repair it.
