Hi all, just thought i would say hello.
Have done alot of reading on her recently as have been looking for a compact tractor for a small stable yard, (i am in the UK), went to look at a Iseki TX1510F, Kubota B1502DT and a Yanmar YM1510D, i had pretty much decided on the Yanmar before we went, but having not owned a tractor before wanted to look at the options.
To be honest after driving them all, there didnt seem to be much between them, all similar hours, all with FEL 4WD etc, my main concern was if it was going to be big/heavy enough. It wont be worked hard, all flat land and just used for a tipping trailer and maintaining 6 acres of paddocks.
In the next size up, he had a F18D that had just come in, this seemed perfect but i hadnt done any research on this model, so he agreed to hold both the F18D and the YM1510D for a week while i worked out what i wanted to do. After alot of searching and speaking to Hoye, i decided on the the F18D. The main draw back seems to be that its harder to get parts for (also the shuttleshift would of been good with the loader) but as it isnt needed everyday if i have to wait for parts i can.
Only had it a few weeks, but happy so far, will post some pics up when i get a chance.
