F680 excessive vibration ???

I just purchased an F680 John Deere Ztrak mower that seems to run great, but it has a tremendous amount of vibration from the engine. No smoke and starts right up, but it vibrates more than I think it should. Is this normal for the CH20 Kohler Engines? I believe it is the command series.

The engine vibrates even with the deck turned off and it has me thinking something is out of balance, but I'm not sure what it could be.

Hope you guys have some hints on what to look for!

Ask your dealer. I think there was something to do with the facing on the flywheel where the driveshaft mounts. But, that would be something that would do it from new. If it just started, check the driveshaft joints and the rest of the driveline for wear.

Thanks I will check! The gentleman I bought the mower from had recently had it rebuilt, so it could have started there.

I will ask a dealer to see if anything could be wrong since the rebuild.
