Fabtech 2017?

I went for the first time last year to Las Vegas thanks to the encouragement by yomax4. This year it is in Chicago. I understand it is a bigger/better show but I can't make it. Who is going? Please report back your experiences, etc. It's a big show and I wish I had more than a half day to visit. Full day better and part of a second, best!

For me, it solidified my decision on the Hypertherm 45XP. Met with Jim Colt, tried out plasma cutting at the show and I was sold. If I was a rich man, I would have subsequently bought an Ironworker tool as well. :licking: A fun and very informative show to learn and dream.

I planned on attending on Tuesday, but my vehicle is an F350 and with Chicago's ordinances limiting truck operation on some streets I may just pass. Parking with a car is simple at McCormick, I've not been there with a truck, I know it won't fit in the parking garage so id have to park in the outside lots and be at the mercy of the weather and vehicle thieves.
