Were not talking about a so so CAB, check it out....do some investigatin.... you may be suprised. No offense intended but a Jodale Perry Cab is not better than nothing. If I had the bucks I would not hesitate a microsecond. Just because it is not coming from the Manufacturer does not mean its junk. Now on the fllip side of course not sure what would happen if you had any issues with it. Would they support it if you had a problem.

Yeah, you got me there.....maybe. You are assuming that the Manufacturer (Design Engineer) always thinks of Maintenance issues when designing a new add-on system......and normally he tries his best. Unfortunately, price of the design usually rules. Therefore, compromises normally are used to try to squeeze even a penny out of their design. It's rediculous but thats the real world.

If they even changed the Operator Platform a fraction of an inch from the older models (which would not suprise me since their always trying to improve Operator comfort & clearance) their toast. Would get too pricey to tool up for the small changes. (Maybe you already know that.)

Jodale Perry does make a really nice cab, the problem is you have to sell your children to afford one. Freight alone from the Canada to me in PA is $1000+. Till you paid for the cab, shipped it in and pay for costly installation you'd be way better off tradeing your machine for a factory cab model.

I agree. The TBN member that posted back about 18 months ago I believe paid $6500 Canadian installed.

Was that with or withour A/C. My cab without A/C on in Summer is like a Sauna.

I don't think he had air conditioning but I know he got a heater for the winter months. I also remember that he indicated he had the Dealership install some kind of quick disconnects for the Heater so that he could easily remove the Cab in the summer if he wanted to. Why remove the Cab if you have air conditioning. I checked the Jodale Perry site & they do offer air conditioning, however, I tried a quick build for a NH TC35D or TC45D & the air conditioning option is not available. Currently, with no options (not even a heater or fan) the price starts at $5,800 Canadian. The Heater was a $550 option. So adding installation on top of that, yup it's starting to get pricey !!


But what a BEAUTIFUL Cab !!

It's a DREAM of mine to one day go nuts & get a JP Cab.

I'd like to see both cabs side by side. Also I bet the idea of taking the cab off and on gets old the first time you do it.

If I can't have air conditioning AND a heater, than I wont spend that kind of money for a cab. I was looking for a 1 time install that would allow me 4 season comfort. I think I am going to explore the possibility of fabbing my own cab to allow full enclosure with heater for the winter, and remove everything except the frame and roof for the summer. That would allow placement of lights to remain perm. sun protection, and fresh air etc when it isnt cold, and a full heated cab for the winter.

Also Laurin is an option I havent looked into, but I thought the had air conditiong as well.

Now If I could find the time.....currently 1500 miles away from home and the tractor, My BIL got to use the snowblower this year on 12" of snow with 3' drifts and didnt even send me a picture!
