Well I finely made it ta 200 hrs. on the ol 4200.As I posted awhile back,the fuel cutoff cyl. took a poop soon after delivery.A little stray batt. juice eat on the oil cooler a little.My dealer corrected all, even replaced the oil cooler,p/u and delivery all at no charge as it should be.
Today we turned the 200 hr. mark with nary a problem since.My unit is condemed ta lots and lots of ripping with a 5' 5 tooth boxblade.Than I push the loosened mat. into a stockpile.The FEL than takes over,making flat land out of our hilly 10 acres.I have 5' fills behind the shop,60' wide x100' or so long.Point being,This unit has had ta earn its oats from day 1.Not a trailer queen by any standard.
[censored] fine piece of equipment.Is all i can say fer sure.None of the problems I have heard about on TBN.If I am ever luckey enough ta get another new tractor you can bet-yer bottom dollar It will be a DEERE.
Just ta be fair,I did notice a bulg on my L front tire today though."R-4"Many a trip with the bucket maxed out musta took its toll.I am sure my dealer will replace the tire Mon. mornin.

Got my tire today . FED-X Droped It off at my house .My dealer will mount it for me no charge.Good/A/Nuff.

Its now 565 HRS. I have changed all oils and filters every spring . Ended up replacing both front tires at no cost to me because of blisters. I have moved a small mountain with this tractor, pushed over a bushel of cedar trees, taken a small swamp and turned it into a fine pasture. Not a single dogone problem! Always starts and does what it was built to do. A fine machine fer sure. Anyone thinking 4200 will get their moneys worth with this unit. Just thought I would share my exp. with everyone here at T.B.N. .......... Maybe old threds DO have some value after all? KERR

Congrats on the relatively trouble free service! I, too, am surprised you remembered such an old thread. One of my old threads were dug up a while ago. When I saw the title, I thought "Hmm, this sounds interesting." The screen jumped to the newest post made. I noticed your comment about the bulge in your front R4. I have noticed two bulges in one of my F R4's and I am somewhat surprised since this is a 6 ply Titan Trac Loader. I realize that the 6 ply refers to the tread area and not the sidewall, but it still seems odd. Mine has about 800 hours on it, so its out of warranty. Has anyone else had this problem?? Know anywhere that I can get a good price for a replacement?
