Hi there, I'm currently waiting (not very patiently) for an outcome to whats happening with the tractor I am wanting to buy. I was curious. what would any of you say is a fair price for a JD1070 (unsure of year) with approx. 950 hours of moderate use, mostly for mowing, with a model 80 loader, rear weight box, MMM and 4wd with turfs. looking for ballpark. The discussions right now are that I would be able to get it for the trade in value that is offered from the dealer. Any numbers would help. I've been on tractorhouse, ebay and CL and im still a little unsure of what I should be looking at for retail price on such a machine. thanks for your help.

That's low hours for a 1070. I bought my 1070 with a ton of hours (5000) but it still runs great. With a loader, MMM and the box you can look at 10-12,000. I paid just $8200 but got a really good deal as the guy was getting divorced and had to sell.

the fair price is the max amount of $ your willing to pay for the tractor.when i look at something theres always 2 prices,what they want for it an what im willing to pay for it.

Thanks for all the input. Ive looked at Tractor house and the like and that's what got me asking here. I think im looking at somewhere in the 7-8k ballpark which from what you have all told me is a great price, maybe even unheard of. either way if it comes to be i will be the owner of a 1070 so keep your fingers crossed. I am just gonna have to wait and see what happens. thanks for you help
