Price Check Fair price for an Imatch hitch

Hello guys, I have a used Imatch hitch I'm looking to sell. My dealer told me they went up to a list of $299.99. So what's a fair price? It's in 100% working condition and always stored indoors. I'm not going to give it away but don't want to rob anyone either. I think I paid 250 for it last year. So fire away with the comments.

If it helps, I sold one earlier this year for $150. I think I gave the guy a pretty good deal.

Matt - I paid $150 for one, 2yrs ago. I thought it was a great deal. If it's not all scratched up or dented, etc. - you should get at least $175 - maybe somewhere in the neighborhood of $200.

But, times are kinda skinny right now. So, you might not have alot of nibbles above $175...

Seriously though, if I were to sell mine or buy a used one, I'd be looking to get/pay approx $125.00 for it. IMO just because its green doesnt make it worth that much more....Any higher then that and you can get into another top branded Quick Hitch like the Woods or Land Pride unit...

I wish the lp unit is 400 and the woods is 299 trust me I called every local dealer. The Imatch is in like new condition and is a great idea but I have a few implements that don't work with it so it's not worth the hassle to me.

Save your money on a new QH and modify your stuff to fit the I-Match. That is my best advice...

I purchased an imatch hitch for my grandpa's tractor and it is pretty nice. I had to modify my KingKutterXB Boxblade to make it work but that was it. Modifying implements may save you money unless you have to many to modify. Especally if you hire a welder to do the modifications.

Wow, either my dealers are really good or yours see you coming...Few months back I was at a local dealer and they had a black painted unit on the showroom floor, which was Genuine ASAE spec for $199.00 I assumed it to be a Woods or Land Pride, I guess it could have been another MFG...
Isnt the Deere unit $249.00 new?

I agree with KennyD though, take a few minutes and modify all your attachments to ASAE QH Specs...you'll be way happy you did when its all done.

It's the lack of adjustable toplink that's the issue. I'm going to get the woods unit to avoid any mods. There's alot of copy cat hitches out there. Just because it was black doesn't mean it was woods of lp. The price's I listed are from over ten different dealer of all colors.
