Fair sales price for a 5090R

Hi gang:

I am looking at getting a 5090R tractor.. I have gone to the JD website and costed things out and gotten the manufacturers suggested retail price..but, I assume that this is like buying a car and a person should be able to do better than that. But, unlike a car, , I haven't been able to find a website that identifies actual invoice price and fair market sales price.. can anyone enlighten me on what to expect as far as a fair sales price?

That is a hard one to answer. It depends on the dealer, how popular the model is you are looking for, time of year, whats on the dealers lot, JD rebates and incentives.

I bought my 4044R for just about the same price as a 3 series (over 25% off MSRP) last year - just timed it right (by complete accident). But the same dealer does not deal much at all on the 1025's.
