Farm Days: Who\'s going?

Okay, the other thread has degenerated into a discussion of what constitutes Upstate. I would love to attend the Farm Days, but mainly to meet some of you. Low attendance = I'll make other plans.

So who's going? Wednesday evening or Thursday day would work best for me.

I realy wish I could go. It would be nice to meet the people I have been listening, and talking to all these years. Unfortunately, I can't make it this year. Heres hopping for anouther gettogether this year, or next.

As I said before... if anyone wants to see the latest & anything and everything in Ag, Compact tractors, and implements & accessories... this place will just about have it all and then some... This is especially true it you can get the day off and live close by... and it presents one of those "don't want to miss opportunities..." /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I plan on going either the 7th or 8th. You should do this again about 1 week before the show to get a better game plan as to when everyone will be there.

Haven't heard from either yet. I'm trying to pin down the day because we also have to help Tamara's grandmother go thru/move/donate her late husband's stuff in CT. Sounds like everyone is waiting till the last week to make decisions, though. Don't wanna have a car full of coffee if nobody's going! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif I'll shoot for driving there Wednesday, settling in and maybe check it out that evening, but Thursday we'll be there all day.

Our county farm day's is Aug 2,3 and 4th. Usually pretty good for a small county event. Combine demo derby is also a must see. The farm auction is also a winner.

The wife and I made our reservations for a nice little B&B in Geneva. Arrive Weds late afternoon, spend Thurs at Farm Days, drive home on Fri morning. Oh, and we managed to find a house/dogs/cats/chickensitter! /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif

So how do we attendees connect? Noon Thursday at the tractor and implement area?

How about narrowing it down a bit... and say New Holland Compact Tractors between 12-12:30... ? (The Big 3 usually have larger display areas...)

Speaking of wives....How many wives are attending?

Based upon the posts thus far there are 7 TBNers attending plus 1 wife (Mrs. Boondox /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif). If my wife comes along that'll make 9 people.

Sorry I haven't replied earlier, but this kind of weather doesn't find me in front of the computer that much.

I'll try to be there for the Thursday "TBN meeting" at around noon at the blue tractor display. My wife doesn't do well in the sun, especially mid-day, so I'll probably drop her off at the outlet mall which is about 10 miles away. If I see 7 other guys and 2 ladies, I guess I'll find y'all. I'll probably have a white USS Canberra cap on.
