Gents,

I have parts manual but not able to locate part number for mower deck bearings.
Who can help me out?

Also need tips on how to replace.
I see a snap ring.
Do the pullys get pried up?

Thanks all

that sounds right, pulley comes up, snap ring off, and spindle goes down. two bearings in there i don't remember the numbers but they are common bearings available most anywhere....

once the spindle is out pound the bottom bearing down and the top one will have to come out the top.

I've removed the pulley and spindle.
Not sure how to remove the bearings.

I tried pressing the top one out with a vise and socket, no deal.
I will try pounding the bottom one down although I see a cup like affair at the bottom of the spindle.
Under this is where the mower blade is attached.
I did remove the bottom snap ring but the cup did not separate.
Maybe brute force is needed?
What am I doing wrong?

Local shop wants $135 for the complete spindle.
They don't offer just the bearing which is probably $3 a piece.

Both spindles secure differently, that's also pretty silly.
Can't post pics from my black berry...

Maybe I can post pics!

The shaft on the right shows the bottom bearing.
That one goes down?

Piece on the left houses the top bearing.
Not sure how I am going to get that bearing out...

Part numbers are:
NTN
6206LU

Is it safe to say all 6 bearings are the same?

the bearing that is still in there must come out the opposite way of the other one. if they all went in the same way they essentially could work themselves out of the housing.

yes all six bearings should be the same...

any 6206 bearing with two seals will work...

Managed to replace the bearings on 1 spindle.
Reinstalled and it rolls great.
Both bearings remove from the top.

Other side, not so much.
Managed to break the pulley on passenger side.
It is off the deck so I can work on it on the bench.
Thinking I will bring it to buddys shop, he has a press.

Middle pulley is still on the deck.
Scratching my head on removal.

Any tips?
