Chipper Farm Pro Chipper - (Jinma) - good price??

Hey guys, they have the Farm Pro chipper at this website for $1299 - I think it is made by Jinma. Shipping prices didnt seem to bad either. I ordered one today and should have it on Tuesday. I will let you know what I find!!

I'd say that's a great price - I paid $300 more for mine a few months ago from Homier. And I thought shipping was reasonable for such a large item ($125 or so)

Picked up my Farm Pro chipper yesterday, assembled it last night and spent today chippin'. I have it mounted on my JD 750, 20 hp and it works as well as I had hoped it would. A 4" cherry branch will slow it up a bit but it can handle it, softwood branches up to 5" chipped without a hiccup. I'm well satisfied.

I have been looking at the Jinma and cheapest price I could find is $1550.00 plus about $250 in shipping. I called these folks and they can ship to bus that has fork lift for about $120. Did you verify the manufacture?

Thanks. Called them and they are out and will not be getting anymore until next year. They are closer and said their past price was $1400.00, but subject to change with next order.

I have spoken with a Farm Pro dealer who explained to me that the Farm Pro and the Jinma are in fact the same.

they are having a good day...I orderd one today also $1,299 + $263 for residential delivery in NJ. I hope ours weren't made on a Friday /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Shipping is weird. You got a quote of $263 to NJ but it costs almost $600 to Boston. I presume these are being shipped from Indiana. It is not twice as far to Boston. 670miles to Newark and 870 miles to Boston from their distribution center. What's going on?
