Hello all, I am new here, and I am interested in the new Farm Pro (foton) 80 hp that has come out, any thoughts? I am seriously considering this tractor, seems to have all I need, cab, heat, a/c, etc. Please let me know anything good or bad, I would appreciate it!

Hi
I looked at the Farm Pro 80 hp they were 24990 . Very impressive big tractor feel. Good layout seems to be a good tractor. I bought a rural King 70 hp. The Farm Pro dealer didnt seem to want to make a deal or I didnt look like I had money.
Very happy with the 704 good little tractor

hey thanks farm boy, I seem to get a lot of good comments about all of these Chinese tractors, I seem to be in a bidding war with two dealers over the 80 hp, hope to get one soon!

Did the $24999 on the farm pro include the loader? If not, It might pay to shop around some. Problem is these big ones are in short supply. we have a Farmpro 70HP due in next week, I'm anxious to play with it!

hey bluechip, is there anywhere to look to see the numbers on the tractor of the 80 hp to make sure it is really 80 hp, and I am not paying for an 80, but getting a 70hp? Or are there any differences to look for other than numbers?

Hey Moter1,

Pop the hood and look at the Engine Specs. on the Engine Plate. On my little engine it has: Hr. Output in __Kw @ ___ r/min. Multiply the Kw by 1.341 to get the Horse Power.

Someone else may have a better way, but that is the best way that I know of. But I would tend to put more trust in the Engine Plate Specs.

Have a nice day,
Joe

Joe is right, the engine tag should show the HP or KW rating.
ONe of my guys was up at HOmier last Friday and saw the 70 and 80 said tires are bigger on 80HP tractor. These are Perkins powered units. $ 24999 with loader makes sense, which loader did they offer?

Bluechip, I believe that the only one that Koyker can fit is the 310. This is straight from the factory telling me this. It has a large lift capacity, well at least plenty for me!
