Buying Advice Farm Pro

Does anyone know about the Farm Pro tractors. I saw a used one for sale but I know nothing about them. I'm looking for a 20-28 hp tractor and wanting to spend around 10k for a used one and was not sure about this kind. Looking for any advice. Needs to have a front loader though.

You might want to shot over to the china section. These tractors are simple, basic, tough tractors. The MAIN issue with them, is the initial setup. If it was not done properly you will be looking at lots of problems over time. The initial setup includes clutch spacing, 100% fluid change, and going over every single bolt. We have some great dealers on this site, that have been selling them for quite awhile. Farm Pro's were sold thru Northern Tool, I am not aware of their dealer prep. For reference, I bought my Jinma (same as Farm Pro) 224 for $8200 with Koyker fel and back blade, this was about 5 to 6 years ago. It has been trouble free for 250 hours (except for a hose I cought brush hogging)

I've got a 204, other than a problem with a badly installed cam bearing CHINESE TRACTOR OWNERS CLUB FORUM - bad injector symptoms it`s worked great. Even with the problem I had I`d still buy another. They`re simple (no electronics other than charging system) basic tractors, no hydraulic lifters, no fancy nuttin`just an engine, transmission and wheels LOL.
As OKnewguy said, initial setup is the main thing, that and some mechanical ability to do your own maintenance and repairs.......Mike

I also have owned a jinma 254 and the nortrac dozer. Both machines IMHO were perfectly fine, I would/will buy another. Just make sure you use a good dealer, if buying used check it over real good. As with ANY used machine you very possibly could just be buying someone elses headache.
