Hey fellers, been a log time since I posted on this forum...

I was just wondering, How is the quality of the Farm Pro tractors now?

I am particularly talking about the 2420 and 2425.

My dealer, ACTION EQUIPMENT Welcome to Action Equipment here in Louisiana is still in business, after about 3 years.........He is roughly 5 miles from me............Do any of ya'll know who he is? His name is Gordon Murrill?.......He told me Saturday that he is Louisiana's #1 Farm Pro Dealer as far as sales and service.........I know that he sells a LOT of tractors.........He really does service what he sells too, without any 'lip' from him...........He is a Very honest, kind, and straight-forward person.............I have dealt with him several times on implements that I purchased from him for my Mahindra.

Let me know about the quality issue.........I may just have to get one!

If I bought one and something happened to Action Equipment, Where would I go for service?............I know i'd be "supported" here on TBN, but I wouldn't get the service that I would need.

Thanks,

Travis R

Travis, these tractors are very easy to fix,if it's something major we can help you with service, but we are in Texas.More and more tractor service shops are working on these tractors because they know they can get parts. We also have a very large selection of parts for Jinma/Farmpro and sell to alot of dealers

I have a Farm Pro 2430 (3010). I absolutely love it. I have done many job with it. The only regret is I don't get enough time to use it. This thing has done everything I have asked it to do. I have not had any problems to speak of with it. I did change all the fluids and check everything I can before each use. I am very happy with my purchase and have no regrets whatsoever. My father-in-law likes it better than his Massey. He is always on my tractor. Oh Yeah. I drove 4 hours to get the tractor. My dealer will come to my site if there is something that I cannot fix on it. Hopefully that doesn't happen. A good dealer is the key.

I own a 2420 2wd model and I also love the tractor I has done anything that I have asked it to do. Couple minor problems but the part of having a good dealer is the key. No regrets here either. Cant be the quality for the price.

Ya'll are SO correct.........The key is the dealer.......I know that the dealer thats about 5 miles from me is an excellent one.......NEVER heard anything negative about him or his business.

I am looking into the Farm Pro line and the used Japanese Yanmars........On whatever I decide, I think i'm gonna be able to purchase a lot sooner than what I thought before.
