I was searching the net the other night and I found this neat looking website. It is http://www.farmshow.com/ and it is for a magazinne full of little inventions and good ideas from and for the farm. You can get a completely free issue if you don't mind them sending you 5 or 6 letters trying to get you to subscribe. I ordered a free issue and I can't wait to get it.

Farmer, I check out the website and seems interesting, but the only concern I have if I'm no longer interested will they keep hounding like others have. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

Thomas, I know what you mean! I get so tired of junk in the mail and on the phone I have a hard time signing up for anything. I think there are people who follow the forum but will not register because they fear all kinds for junk finding them after they sign up. I'm happy to say that Muhammad has not let that happen here.

Thomas - A friend of mine got the free issue once and they sent him 5 or 6 letters trying to get him to subscribe but they stopped after that and he's never heard from them again.

This is an unique publication with no advertising in the print version thus candid and often acerbic comments that will educate you on dealing with dealers and manufacturers. Mostly it has ideas, modifications, inventions and shop techniques from private parties but also from Europe, Austrailia, South Africa, new equipment is reviewed. Lots of stuff from Canada. If you are a tinkerer, modifier, enhancer, welder, inventor or just a shop-monkey this would appeal to you. It is the most interesting publication I get and I'm a subscription nut.It is a great gift to the right person. P.S. I have no propietary interest in Farm Show

I've been getting it for a little over a year and ditto RCH's comments. I think it's a great forum for stirring the imagination and getting ideas. Sorta like Tractorbynet... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
