I own a new Farmtrac 60. It is modeled after the ford 3610. You can surf the net and find parts for the FT60 drive train.
I bought mine with a 5320 loader and a 6ft bushhog. I've got a few hours on the machine and have no problems. I saw a 99 model FT 60 for sale with over 1800 hours described in excellent condition selling for $7900 and the sales place said it was sold.
The tractors, based on what I've found on the internet, were originally branded as New Hollands for the Asian market. The same tractor (engine and drive train) may have been manufactured for sale in the US by the Fardabad India plant and a plant in England for sale in the US.
The tractor runs a 6ft bush hog with no problem. I cut the normal dog fannels and 2+ inch pine without a hitch. I ran in 2nd gear at 1500 RPM cutting about a 3 acre field. Took about 2 hours. Eight feet high and so thick you couldn't see a foot in front of you. The tractor didn't blink.
Have pulled a bush and bog disk doing some loader roadwork on my place. Tractor pulled the 5ft 18 inch disk without a problem unless I hit a stump square. The differential lock really works well. The DL is well placed.
Fuel consumption is about a gallon per hour +/-.
My only disklike is that I banged my knuckles using the tight gearbox during loader work. The gears are loosening so that problem is going away.
If you want more info on the FT60 just let me know.
Regards,
Jim
