New to site, hello to all. Fuel in oil problem.... Sorry on the Title....

Got a Farm Track 675 I picked up the other day. Perkins, 4.4liter. 4 Cylinder. Tractor is in excellent shape, been shed kept and only has about 230 Hrs on it. After going through it, noticed oil stick was about a gallon too high. We drained oil, ran a few hours, and back to same level. Then we changed the oil, ran a few hours, and same problem..
So, its obviously leaking fuel into the crank case some where? Correct?
It has a electronic fuel pump, so I ruled that out..
I took out all the injectors, they look fine, but still going to clean them and check.
The injector pump seems to be the obvious problem. Do you have to take the front cover off and pull the gear to get the injection pump off? Looking for a little advice, before I move further...

Thanks...

It sounds like the injector pump shaft seal has failed.
BEFORE you pull the gears find the "dot" stamped on the crankshaft gear and rotate to top dead centre. It is important the injector pump timing is not changed.
I think there is another thread here that deals with replacing the injector shaft seal.

Its important to know what inj. pump is on the 675.. inorder to diagnose the problem better..
IF its an "in-line" pump the pump is engine oil filled, but will leak internally & dump fuel into the oil sump.
If its a CAV DPA pump {rotary} the inj. pump IS filled w/ fuel & the front seals DO fail from time to time.
If its a VE pump {also rotary} the inj. pump is filled w/ fuel & do blow out the front seals from time to time..
Is the electric supply pump new.?? or has it always been on the machine.??
I ask because an electric supply pump can & WILL over-pressurize the system if the correct 1 isn't used & blow out the front seals.

Guys, thanks for the quick response, to be honest, I'm not sure which type of inj. pump is on it. I've attached a few pictures, maybe they will help. Like I said, the tractor is 2002-2008 with 229 HRS on engine.. it has been in a shed for all it's life, and obviously not run much. I'm thinking with the lack of running, some of the seals have succumb to dry-rot, from lack of lubrication, not sure........ but everything on the tractor is original.
