I purchase and sell products that are not certified organic. You're absolutely correct. As for labeling and regulations, I believe that big Ag fights it. If they lose or feel they are going to lose, they then work on 2 things. 1) The make the sure the legislation will cost money that smaller competitors won't have. 2) They make sure they can put in loopholes. This is the common way industry influences the government. Yes influence may be too soft of a word.

Remember that the President wants to increase revenue, but NOT by closing loopholes.
