Farmall H restore

I started this project for fun. I am definitely not a restoration guy or a paint and body man. I began by pulling off all of the sheet metal and sanding it to the bare metal. I also sanded the entire engine and front half of the tractor before I decided I was crazy for doing this. Anyway, I Primed and painted the entire tractor and cleared the sheet metal. Again, I did this under my car port, with a 4.5 inch wire wheel on a grinder (several wire wheels actually). I used Valspar primer, paint and clear. I actually used Spray cans because i thought that the paint would go a long way, boy was I wrong. I have hundreds of dollars in materials. But it was a learning experience and I had fun. I will tackle another one in a different way next time.

Yes Farmall H very nice tractor lots of parts available and a sweet ride altogether,I own 4 of them although I have to say the M is a bit more impressive especially when you are riding down the road 16MPH and 6 feet up in the air whew you can feel the thermals on yer way to the show!
Good choice of tractor though,

im having trouble with my h. it seems to be choking or somthing , like its not getting air or fuel. i start it , let it idle and warm up and when i raise the throttle it just chokes and spits. what could be wrong adn what should i do?

Are you going to paint the cultivator parts the IH blue color?
