A bunch
I have a 12v 1953 SC that I'm installing a Precision Electronics ignition in but can't get spark. The instructions are a little sketchy and I've wired it accordingly. I found YouTube videos for a pertronix ignition install and the instructions are way different. I understand the differences between 12v -ground and 6v +ground, but the wiring is otherwise way off. Has anyone installed one of these or has access to a better set of instructions? I'm mechanically savvy, but I just need new perspective. Thanks

well.. i have pertronix on a C.. and wiring is dead bones simple.

you need 12v neg ground usually, unless you have some wierd module.

you will need 12v via switch to the module.. you will have wires from the module to the coil primary posts.. Most modules specify a coil impedance rating.. usually around 3 ish ohms.

all the module is is a solid state switch.. a hall effect sensor... and magnet ring for triggers...
