I haven't look at one recently but like most you just need to turn the nut that is behind the hub cap in until the wheel won't turn then back it off 1/2 a turn or until you feel fit.

I am sure others will have more detail on how to do it.

I would recommend getting a service manual for it.

Over tightening the spindle nut will lead to premature bearing failure. Here is how I do mine.
1) pack bearings
2) place hub on spindle and rotate hub at the same time tighten nut hand tight
3) Back off and retighten to finger tight while spinning until a slight drag is felt.
4) Back off to line up cotter pin.

There will be some play from .001 to .010 to allow for heat expansion as the wheel rolls.
Note how at no time I said use a wrench or socket. The nut should never be more than finger tight at most.

i pretty much do it by feel similar to that.

jack front end.. clean races and lube hub and pack bearing. put nut on.. tighten till it drags then back a hair to find cotter hole. pretty much what i do on all trailer or front tractor wheel beairngs on 2wd units.. etc..
