A father-son tragedy while working on the farm:

Man electrocuted, father injured in farming accident near Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, SC (WBTV) - A Rock Hill man is dead and his father is hospitalized with serious injuries after investigators say the pair was involved in a farming accident Monday morning.
http://www.wistv.com/story/18639092...er-injured-in-farming-accident-near-rock-hillAccording to officials, 31-year-old Jason Richard Roach, of Rock Hill, was electrocuted on Monday. WBTV has learned that Roach and his father were farming near Highway 324 and Champion Road on Monday morning when they hit a power line around 10 a.m. Roach died from his injuries, his father was flown to Augusta to be treated for his injuries.

Supposedly this is more info from the comments underneath the article:

Sheriff's Lt. David Frye says Roach and his father were moving a heavy piece of farm equipment when it hit power lines and shocked them both.

They must have grounded themselves!?!

I hauled wood utility poles with a boom truck. I would frequently drop poles along a line which was billed to the utility by the hour. It would take a long time when I did it alone (stop truck, climb out of cab, climb up turret, pick and drop pole, climb down, etc.) but would be much faster if the utility would provide a driver, usually a lineman, which they almost always did. I would warn this driver at least twice to watch for overhead lines. At least three or four times a year they would run me (I was rear facing towards the trailer) or the boom into a line. Fortunately for me it was never an energized conductor when it was the back of my head although on occasion the boom would take down an energized line. Then the lineman/driver would sheepishly call it in while we waited for a crew to come out and de-energize the line before we could move on.
