Farmliner 445 Oil Chamge

Hi All,

I have owned my 445 for a little while now and want to service it myself due to the difficulties of getting someone down to where I live. I service my diesel 4x4 so should be able to manage this for the interim services and general maintenance.

I am having trouble working out what weight oil to use as the papers I have do not reference it and so far web has turned up nothing. Can anyone help with this and also with the filter? Ryco part number would be best as this is the main type of filter brand here.

I have owned a 350 for over 20 years and have used a couple of oils - Shell Rimula X and for quite a number of years Valvoline Super Diesel 15W-40 with no issues. The Valvoline NetLube website says you can also use Diesel Extra 15W-40. You can buy Super Diesel at a pretty good price at SuperCheap Autos but I'm not sure about Diesel Extra. I have just used Ryco fuel and oil filters and they have been fine. The fuel filters are both Ryco R2132P and oil is Z54A. If you are having difficulty finding parts, I have found a bloke in Canada who specialises in parts for Fiat clone tractors.
