Farmtrac 270 need front wheel

I was using my 270 today, and noticed the front wheel wobbling, I stopped immediatly and inspected tractor to see what the heck was going on. I found that the front wheel was extremely loose, and upon removing it, found the stud holes to be pretty badly elongated. The lugs were also damaged, however the hub is OK [Thank God]. I dont think it will be a problem to locate wheel lugs, however the rim on the other hand has me concerned, due to the current state of Farmtrac. The rim is a 12 inch and the tire size is 23x8.50x12 industrial. I just need the rim, the tire is ok. Does anyone know where I can get one. Thanks Ryan.

As far as I know Farmtrac is done.

I am sure just about any tractor dealer could locate a rim for you. If you have a Montana dealer close to you they have the same tractor as yours just painted green and labeled differently. Just be sure to check and tighten your lugnuts ocassionally as they might loosen up overtime. I always do a walk around everytime I use my tractor.

I believe the Montana variation of the tractor comes with bigger tires. May have to look elsewhere.

Just go to your nearest Farmtrac dealer and have him order you one.We are not done for yet.He may have one in stock.

I was able to buy a wheel and tire today from my local Farmtrac dealer. He had a take off front wheel with tire in stock, as well as all the wheel bolts [4] and studs[2] He let me take the wheel and tire , and only made me pay for the rim and wheel bolts, and told me to leave a $50 dollar deposit for the tire , dismount the tire and bring it back and he would refund my $50 deposit, or if I decided to keep the tire, bring him another 50 tomorrow. After looking at the dryrot on my original tire, I have decided to buy the tire too. I will bring him the other $50 tomorrow morning , and a box of doughnuts. Total cost, $230 new rim, tire, and bolts and studs. The name of the dealer is Paul Robinson and Co., Super nice people.
