Due to illness I had to let my tractor sit for a while. On return I'd lost they power steering assist and three point hitch hydraulics, and my differential was basically empty. I could find no sign of a large leak. Per my dealer the differential serves hydraulics for PS and lifting.

I added fluid and steering is better but jerky. The position lever is 'stuck' in mid-position and feels soft to push (like air in lines).

How does one bleed air out of these machines? The owner's manual shows a hydraulic arrangement different from what I have with no engine driven PS pump on mine.

I'd be grateful for some thoughts.

Air is usually bled by operating the function from lock-to-lock, so try jacking up the front end and turn the steering wheel back and forth repeatedly. The operate the 3PH from full low to full lift.
