I have an 2004 Farmtrac 545. I am trying to use the adjustment lever to lower the lift arm that is adjustable. It has a 5 inch piece that is spring loaded that is stuck. It will not turn either way. Am I missing something that has it locked? How do I adjust it.

You can make fun of me....I had the same problem. One has to remove the load on the lift arm to make the adjustment. You will likely need to remove the linchpin. After I did this I took the upper link apart and placed oil between the two threaded ends.
