I purchased a fast hitch from TS and just love it. The only issue I have is it now extends my lift arms out 3-4". This only becomes an issue with some of my attachments. The top link now has to be extended almost all the way out. I was going to see if I could just buy a longer top link but thought maybe someone had a better idea.

TSC sells top links of various lengths. On the Farmall C, I had to make a custom length top link due to the PTO housing. I bought one from TSC, cut 5" out of the middle, set it up in an angle iron v-block and TIG welded it back together...works awesome.

They sell one that extends way out there. Also be aware that if you use a brush cutter or other PTO driven attachment with your quick hitch, the PTO shaft has to extend out another 3"-5" as well. Make sure you have enough insertion distance so the driveline doesn't come apart.

By the way, Fast Hitch was Farmall's answer to Harry Ferguson's 3 point hitch. It's actually superior to the 3-point but due to dropping the marketing ball, it never caught on. An additional factor was that Henry Ford sold so darn many tractors with the Ferguson System that the implement makers stopped making Fast Hitch equipment due to sales volume dropping. It's all a very interesting story, but I digress.

Yes, the Farmall 2 point fast hitch was much nicer than 3 points, plus having the down pressure capability was great, we could actually jack up the 400 and 560's to adjust the tires for plowing just by throwing a block of wood under the fast hitch drawbar.
