Well, I've found one probelm on my GC2410. With less than 20 hours on the meter, the fuel gage stopped working.

I was impressed with how long it was running without using much fuel, but then after several hours of running the backhoe, I knew something had to be wrong. It shows almost completely full when the tank is well past half empty (it took almost 4 gallons). I'll be having the dealer take a look at it once the 50 hour service rolls around. I'm not hauling it to the dealer just for this issue, especially since I don't have a truck or trailer capable of towing it yet, but that's in the works :)

I'd do a quick check on the connections to the back of the gauge and the sender.

Like DEWFPO said, it could be an easy fix. If you want to go further:

See if there is power going to the gauge. FYI, in case you don't know, the sender, (in the tank), is usually only a ground. Double check the wire on the sender to see if it is hot. If it is not, ground the wire and see if it makes the gauge go to full.

If there is power at the gauge, when you ground the sending wire, if the gauge does not move, the gauge is likely bad. If the gauge goes to full, the sender is likely bad.

Consider doing your own 50hr, it takes less than 2 hrs, on top of saving a lot of money, you get a chance to get to know your investment.
