I don't imagine there are very many actual manufacturers of pet food. Is this company's food sold under other names (like store brands) or just their own?
Not a brand I'd ever heard of before.

It doesn't say, nor does it list the retailers that carry it:

Looks like the national supplier of tractor stuff sells it, or supplier of pet stuff as it may be. Also various farm and feed stores.

Every time one of these announcements comes out I start thinking about making my own dog food.

Some believe that a variant of this was the cause of halluciations, resulting in the Salem Witch Trials way back in the 17th century.

This makes me so mad. I hope this company is forced to compensate all pet owners who had their pets harmed or killed.

Been a while, but iirc, corn primarily gets tested for At and only certain low levels (ppm) are allowed for human consumption, higher ppm is allowed in pet food. If I recall this correctly, you'd think they would already be on the look out for a potential problem.
