Hey,
looking at renting an ASV RC100 with the forestry package and a Fecon HD7469 forestry mulching head. What I'm looking for is some info on teeth wear and other things that come with use. I'm looking at using it to clear about 40 acres of pasture that has 4-5" brush, etc. Do I have the right machine?
I'm told the teath are about 8o bucks and there are 33 of them, Never used one of these particular machines, i would imagine the operator plays a big part in wear on the head and machine, but does anyone have a reasonable estimate on what to expect? 33x80= 2640 so that adds quite a bit to the cost of renting the machine if you go through 2 sets of teeth. Any info is appreciated
