I own a NH TC29DA and have been using a rear blade & FEL to clear my 500+ ft drive and area around the pole barn. Have been considering a snow blower for the last few years as I am getting tired of having to shovel & rake gravel that I dump in my yard every year, let alone the 1.5 hours each time I plow. I have priced new implements and surfed ebay/craiglist for used. Currently there is a Woods 5 ft. 3 pt unit w/ manual controls about 90 miles away for $1100. I was looking for any feedback on the Woods implement and what would be a reasonable price for a slightly used unit. Thanks in advance.

Woods makes great equipment. I have their 5000 chipper shredder. It's well made and quite effective. Other Woods gear I've seen or seen other's implements have all been a good value.
I don't think the SB60 is a current product for Woods. There was one advertised locally (CL, again) for $950, but after all the snow we've had in central PA, I'm sure it's sold by now.
Best bet is to go take a look at it with $1000 cash in your wallet. Make a cash offer (if it's in decent shape and you want it), but don't expect the seller to drop too much...not during the Winter season (especially this winter).
Good luck...and, if you miss it, there will be more come Spring.

Once you get used to using the blower, you'll love it. I don't know much about the woods units. What's the price on a new one? If it looks in very good shape and the price is right, go for it. But i never had any luck find any used blowers. usually all wore out. kinda like trying to find a good used bush hog.

BTW, i went form plowing my yard with a pick up to a snowblower. Took 3 1/2 hrs w/pickup, 1 1/2 with blower. But you still can throw a large amount of gravel on to lawn. But it's usally scattered and it blends right in when the grass goes.

For snows under about a 12", a snow blower will not be faster than a scraper blade. So, if you are getting one thinking it'll be faster, in many cases it will be much much slower.
