I have a McConnel FEL on my CaseIH tractor and discovered a crack in the steelwork of the headframe (that supports the quick release bucket). I have removed the headframe by taking out the two pins (approx. 1 1/2" diameter) that attach it to the the arms of the FEL. One came out easily enough but the right side pin had split inside its housing exactly where the dowel roll pin fitted. With a bit of effort the top part of the pin came out leaving the other end stuck in position. Now I have a problem; the stuck pin will not shift at all. It's 2-3" long and about 1 1/2" diameter and seems to have corroded inside the housing. Any ideas on how to remove? If I can't remove it there is no point in repairing the crack in the steel and I will have to buy a new headframe! Help!
