FEL Bucket ATV Plow

Just tried it out today pushing the three inches of snow we had. I wanted to be able to remove it quickly so pinning it to the loader arms was out of the question. It is a 60", I would have liked to go bigger but i guess there's always the possibility of adding on. Release two ratchet straps and back away and I have the bucket back. Works a lot better than chasing the snow around with just the bucket. Maybe next year I can angle it with hydraulics.

Hey Cooldmax,

That is a great idea! Do you have any problems seeing it from the tractor seat? Is it hooked under the bucket somehow as well as the straps?

And what about using an electric actuator to tilt it? I'm not sure what they cost, or how much force they can push... but would be pretty easy to run 2 wires up there vs hydraulic hoses?

I'd love to see the underside of the bucket with the snow plow attached.

Thanks CowwFace. No problem seeing it from the seat so far. I have a piece of angle iron running the width of the bucket that goes under the cutting edge to hold it on. I ran the width of the bucket so it wouldn't slide when turning. An actuator is a good idea. I'll definitely look into that.

Nice idea and looks like you used stuff you already had so the cost was nothing.
