FEL Chain Hooks

Su7 -- That's a real nice piece of work. I never thought about seeing if a trailer hitch part would fit in there. It's winter here and the tractor is outside while I'm in, but I'll definitely check to see if that works on my tractor next time I'm out there to plow snow.

Nice work on the deflection of the cross member, too! I'd take my hat off to you but I'm not wearing it at the present moment.

Looks like a lot of thought went into the placement of all the hooks. Nice job. I guess you can never have too many.

For $500 I'd try to find a deal on a set of QA pallet forks - much quicker for placing equipment on trailers than messing around with chains.

I see you already have a grapple which is great for log work - that's the only thing I could see using a chain for over the forks.

On my TC18 I have a hook welded on each corner of the bucket. I have a short lenght of chain to span the distance to which I can attach a larger chain with a grab hook for a "center pull" when needed.

Dad has a hook welded on the center of his TC40DA - I don't think he's ever used it as he has the pallet forks or grapple if he wants to lift something...
