Just got a B3200 TLB and was reading the manuals the other night. I usually don't bother with manuals, but since it was late and I couldn't actually USE the tractor, I figured this was the next best thing. Plus, this is a big enough piece of equipment, I ought to read the manual first.

Anyway, the loader control joystick has two detents - the stick will be held in place. I understand pushing it forward to the detant to use the float feature. But can someone explain the use for the detent in the far right (dump) position. The manual explains something about high/low flow in the two positions and taking hydraulic power from the valve (assuming some implement other than the FEL). I'm sure someone can shed some light. Thanks

It is the "regen" or regenerative function of the dump circuit. Read THIS post for a great explanation.

Also do a search on the term "regen" for a lot more reading.
