I've got a Woods 1006 FEL on my B7500 that I'm about to dismount for the first time. Do I need to connect the hydraulic lines to complete the circuit after the FEL is disconnected?

That's a great question and it has two possible answers (as far as I know). If your unit has couplings for the loader then simply disconnect and replace caps (for dust!). Because this is an after market loader most likely it is not a direct line system meaning you have couplers (where hoses connect to hydraulic system). If you have a direct drive hydraulic system then you WILL need to complete the circuit to drive the remaining hydraulic system. Keep in mind that KUBOTA is a the king of running everything they can off hydraulics. Hope this helps.......

Thanks for the info. Mine does have couplers, so it's just a matter of putting on the dust caps.

I won't go into the time I dead headed the pump on my Case/Ingersoll, which DOES have direct lines and no release valve!
