has anyone come across a quick setup for this? i saw something on a search yesterday but failed to bookmark it. after two back surgeries i thought this would work for me, being able to raise and lower the cement bucket and pour it where needed.:)

they make nice mixers for the three point, run off the PTO and of a reasonable size to accomplish some thing,

I have seen a mortar mixer for skid steer loaders, but cement mixers do a poor job mixing mortars and mortar mixes can not mix cement, (rocks get jammed between paddles and drum)

I would think one could take most any mixer and make a mount and run it with a hydraulic motor,

here is a hydralic ran on on a skid steer,

I have a HF electric mixer (under $200 as I recall) and where I hemmed and hawed about whether I would use it enough, I would now call it one of my best decisions. There are not too many jobs worse than mixing mortar or concrete by hand. The HF mixer works GREAT!

I thought this was the build it your self section,

I thought you were looking for workable Ideas, that one could build,

the scoop and mix mixer has the dimensions and shows you the works and drive and has a simple center mix bar, would think it would be a fairly simple project, find a tank about 36" across and cut in half and use that for the bottom or have a piece rolled by a good machine shop, (that is what I did when I rebuilt a mortar mixer), used a hole saw to cut the shaft holes, and then made a jig that fit in the hole with a flat on it, to tack the ends on to the "drum" so it was true and round. the original drum was rotted out by dirt and junk and water setting in it for many many years,

here is one made from a large pipe, for a loader, plenty of pictures, and uses what appears to be a 3/4 ton rear axle for a bearing,

another version of similar to the one above.
